I have used this to fish in East Matagorda Bay for Specks and Reds, and to run 5 miles offshore to the "three sister rigs" and fish for KingFish. It can get up to 55mph, and can run shallow flats. This is the perfect One Man fishing vessel. Easy to put in the water and easy to take out. Clean-up takes the fraction of the time that a boat requires. I have flushed engine with special saltwater flush liquid every time I have taken it out of the water. The coolest thing about my waverunner is that I flush mounted a Garmin 440x GPS/Fishfinder in the center console. It has all coastal maps programmed into it, and shows you where oyster reefs are located and where other obstructions are located. It also, has depth finder and fish finder, this is such a critical tool for the serious sportsman. I have a cooler with four rod holders mounted to it, and I have straps to mount the cooler on the waverunner. I also have 2 sadle bags that mount by their handles under the seat. The cooler and sadle bags are tightly secured and never come loose when running. These allow you to bring lots of drink and food and gear and supplies for long runs and long days on the water. I am very sad I am selling because I wanted to be the pioneer of this new type of fishing, but I need to work more and fish less. The Powerplant

The VX™ is powered by a Yamaha MR-1™ four-stroke engine. This is a compact, ultra-lightweight, four-cylinder, 1052cc, DOHC, 20-valve, liquid-cooled engine for class-leading performance.
Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI): Delivers a smooth, high power output with low fuel consumption and low exhaust emissions.
Specially Designed, One-piece Cylinder and Crankcase Assembly: Provides tremendous engine rigidity that's lighter and stiffer than two-piece designs.
Slant Detection Switch: Electronic switch stops engine and oil pumps immediately if watercraft becomes overturned, protecting motor from water ingestion.
Dry Sump Lubrication: Uses two engine oil pumps to deliver lubricated oil to each moving part with water-jacketed sump and oil backflow protection.
Thermostatic and Pressure Controlled Cooling System: Water flow through the engine is controlled by a thermostat and pressure system and is maintained by a pressure control valve.
Corrosion Protection System: Sacrificial zinc anodes protect the engine from harmful galvanic corrosion. Stainless steel fasteners (nuts, bolts, hardware) provide a long service life.
Electronically Controlled, Variable Ignition Timing: For exact ignition advance control at all throttle positions and RPMs.

The Jet Pump Propulsion System

The VX pump design is one of the most efficient pump configurations ever: the pump increases stream velocity and thrust while decreasing cavitation and prop spin.
Stainless Steel Impeller Housing Liner: For high durability, the liner maintains accurate clearance tolerances between the impeller and the housing.
High Flow Intake Duct and Grate: The dynamic shape of these items directs water flow into the pump for better thrust, performance and hook up.
Cooling Water Intake Filter: Filters out harmful debris that could cause blockage of important cooling water passages.
Pumps are Manufactured with YDC30: A combination of zinc and copper alloys, developed by Yamaha marine engineers, that offers excellent corrosion protection.

This is a video of me and my friend fishing at the "three sister rigs" off the coast of Matagorda Bay, TX. I was driving the WaveRunner that is for sale and doing the filming. We caught several King Fish and Sharks that day and this one Jack Cravelle. This was so much fun! I promise you will be addicted when you try it.
